Project Areas: Mexico: Juarez: Building Homes
The construction of simple homes began in the late eighties. This program has enable hundreds of families to move from cardboard and pallet shacks to a dry home with a concrete
floor. The typical work team can build six houses in a week. As Juarez continues to grow, the teams are working further out from the center of the city. The teams stay in a motel in Juarez and travel each morning to the worksite. Included in the price of the room is a hot breakfast each morning. Spending time with the local residents is an additional blessing for the team. The children are drawn to our young people and they are encouraged to play with the children and share the love of Jesus as time allows.
