Dumay Feeding Program
Lifeline supports a program to provide a daily meal to as many as 300 undernourished children in Dumay. Many of these children come from remote moutainous regions outside Dumay where there is a lack of everyday needs such as food. The feeding program is performed in cooperation with the Dumay School and takes place on the school grounds. Plans are currently being made for a covered pavilion so that the meals could be served under a shelter to provide relief from adverse weather conditions.

The meal normally consists of a combination of beans and rice and is prepared by 6 to 8 cooks and helpers who are supported by the Bethel Church and Lifeline. The meal is prepared at an onsite kitchen near the school. There is an ongoing need for donations to support this program.

If you are interested in making a donation towards this effort, or if you are interested in joining a Lifeline work team traveling to Dumay, please contact World Relief or the Lifeline Board.
