Dumay Guest House

Many of the currently active Lifeline projects are taking place near Dumay, a small Haitian community located outside of Port-Au-Prince. Nathan Dieudonne, Pastor of the Bethel Church in Dumay, helps to coordinate many of these projects with the Brothers on the Lifeline Board. The school, medical clinic, feeding, and water treatment programs are all located in buildings that reside next to the church.

In 2009, following the devastating earthquake which struck Haiti in January, an effort was started to build a guest house near the Dumay Church for accomodating work teams traveling to the area, and to create a storage area for supplies. This became necessary to help work teams save time by eliminating the need to travel back and forth from Croix-des-Bouquet, a journey often taking over an hour. The house and storage shed, shown below, are scheduled for completion in 2011.
