Full Time Service Position for a Sister in Jamaica
The Caribbean Committee of World Relief has a need to add a staff position for the ongoing work with Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf (CCCD) in Knockpatrick, Jamaica. This position will be centered on the Knockpatrick campus of CCCD with residence on campus where some of our Brethren currently reside. The position (described below) will be full time and require a minimum commitment of three years. Financial support will be provided by the Brotherhood and/or WR through the Servant Fund. Candidates for the position must be able to sign or willing to learn to sign.
CCCD Support: A Sister to work at the Knockpatrick campus of CCCD.
- Teach deaf children in a class room setting.
- Work with the deaf children in an afterschool setting.
- Help host work teams.
- Assist in the CCCD office.

Summer Service Positions at CCCD in Jamaica
The Caribbean Committee of World Relief has a need for two summer staff positions for the ongoing work with Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf (CCCD) in Knockpatrick, Jamaica. The assignment will be at one of the deaf schools or at the Deaf Village wherever needed. The position (described below) will be full time beginning in late May and run through early August. Financial support will need to be raised by the candidate. The ability to sign would be a plus but is not necessary.
Job responsibilities:
The primary responsibility will be helping to host work teams including but not limited to picking up and taking teams to the airport, shopping for materials, providing orientation for teams, helping to schedule workloads and working with the CCCD staff in providing room and board for the teams.
Secondary responsibilities will be to help the CCCD staff when needed.
