Dec 2006 - New Beginnings in Jamaica was added as a Field Office
Aug 2006 - VES School in Guatemala was added
Jun 2006 - Rio Bravo was determined to no longer fit the "poorest of the poor" classification and was discontinued as a Field Office
Sep 2005 - Magdalena in Mexico was added as a Field Office
Jan 2005 - ACSI Schools in Guatemala City were added
Nov 2004 - MEBSH in Haiti began sponsoring Trade School Students
Oct 2004 - Living Word Ministries in Haiti added Boucan Moran and Mayette schools with up to 50 students sponsored at each school.
Jul 2004 - The Morton Child Sponsorship Office moved to new facilities in Morton
Apr 2004 - ICCD in Jamaica was added as a Field Office with up to 15 students
Apr 2004 - World Team pulled out of Child Sponsorship in Haiti and asked ACWR Child Sponsorship to take over their remaining sponsorships
Nov 2002 - Living Word Ministries in Haiti added the Hatte Jolibois school to their program
Aug 2002 - Sponsorships had increased to the level of:
CCCD in Jamaica - 76 students
MEBSH in Haiti - 192 students and 62 schools
Living Word in Haiti - 216 students
Ixtlan in Mexico - 25 sponsors for school outreach
AMMAR in Mexico - 109 students
Oct 2001 - Living Word Ministries in Haiti added the Demeline school to the program
Sep 2001 - AMMAR, in Juarez, Mexico was added to the program with Bluffton brethren functioning as the Field Office
The Child Sponsorship Office moved out of Bro Stan and Sis Carol Schick's home to office space in Morton.
Jul 2000 - Living Word Ministries in Haiti added the Bon Samaritan school to the program
Apr 2000 - CCCD in Jamaica add the Knockpatrick Campus to the program
Jan 2000 - Software for The Child Sponsorship program was developed and implemented just in time to replace the old program which was not Y2K compliant.
Winter 1998 - Ixtlan in Mexico joined the program with 10 sponsorship opportunities
Aug 1998 - Brochures with an announcement letter were sent to all the Apostolic Christian Churches to officially kick off the Child Sponsorship Program
Summer 1998 - Living Word in Haiti joined the program
Jul 1998 - Pilot phase of the program completed. The first announcement was made through the Silver Lining.
Fall 1997 - Pilot program with CCCD in Jamaica began
May 1997 - Pilot program with MEBSH in Haiti began
Feb 1997 - Brothers Ken Baum, Tim Butikofer, Stan Schick and Mark Wuthrich traveled to Haiti to investigate child and school sponsorships with MEBSH, Christian Aid Ministries and Palm Grove Schools (Later called Living Word Ministries)
Late 1996 - ACWR Child Sponsorship Program was officially formed
