Lifeline

Lifeline's mission is to provide humanitarian aid, including food, clothing, education, and medical supplies to, but not limited to, Lifeline Orphanage, Lifeline Haiti, and Lifeline Dominican Republic.

"With good will doing service, as to the Lord and not to men:"  Ephesians 6:7

Lifeline began as an effort to establish an orphanage in Croix-des-Bouquet, Haiti, by brethren from the Fairbury and Forrest congregations. Over the years, the number of additional opportunities to provide aid grew and now Lifeline supports multiple projects in other communities in Haiti as well as in the Dominican Republic. Lifeline programs include medical care, education, water treatment, food supplies and feeding, building homes and churches, and continued support for the orphanage itself.

The Lifeline committee works closely with the Bethel Church of God in Haiti, which oversees the day to day operations of the orphanage. The Bethel Church was founded in 1963 under the leadership of Pastor Esaie Dieudonne, who first came into contact with Apostolic Christian Church brethren. The Bethel Church now has over 125 congregations throughout Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Many of the Lifeline projects are located near the rural village of Dumay. The Bethel Church in Dumay is under the leadership of Pastor Nathan Dieudonne, Esaie's brother.
