country that has many physical and spiritual needs. We are currently active in Magdalena, Juarez, Aqua Prieta, Reynosa, and in various locations through Medical-Dental work teams. The Lord has greatly expanded and blessed this work. An introduction to each of these activities and opportunities for Apostolic Christian brethren and friends follow.
- Magdalena - Casa Vida y Esperanza
Casa Vida y Esperanza (CVE), located in Magdalena de Kino, Sonora, is located about 50 miles south of Nogales, AZ. This children's home project was started by Apostolic Christian brethren under the direction of the World Relief Committee, the Mission Committee, with the support of the Elder Body. The English name for the Magdalena children's home is The House of Life and Hope.
- Churches in Ixtlan, Morelia, Barra Vieja – Lomas and Querétaro
Currently the church has 40 members and many friends that benefit from this “work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” Vacation Bible School each year is a wonderful opportunity to invite children to learn to know about the Lord while seeds of faith are planted. In 2008 the average attendance at VBS was over 280 students.
