- Assembling Food Pallets for Local Distribution
Many pallets of food are distributed locally through food pantries operated by churches and other relief organizations.![]()
- Meat Canning
A typical meat canning session will see approx. 40,000 lbs of raw meat, usually turkey, processed into some 20,000 28 oz. cans of USDA approved product.
- Bucket Washing
A recycling program reclaims food grade buckets from a local ice cream plant.
These buckets are washed and sorted, providing a steady supply of shipping containers for food and personal hygiene items. ![]()
- Packaged Meals
The packaged meal program supplies 5 and 10 meal packets of Vegetable Barley Soup and Rice Pilaf for distribution to disaster areas, food pantries, and overseas shipments.![]()
