The needs of our brethren in Eastern Europe continue and an expression of thanks was shared with us as well as an account of a searching soul being thankful for our assistance there. Recent draught conditions have caused severe crop damage. The European Brethren are now packaging their own relief supplies at the Antioch Project and have expressed feeling the added blessings of brothers, sisters, and friends working together.

In India they are hoping to be allowed to open the English Medium School very soon. All instruction in this school is done in English with the ultimate goal of providing greater opportunities for college and better jobs. Additional water filtering systems will be installed by a couple of brothers from Bluffton this winter.

International Grants were approved for assistance to an orphanage in Ukraine, water filters in South America, and a food program for school children in Ethiopia. Additional assistance was provided to the hospital in Indonesia which was built primarily with the generous Tsunami relief donations. Also a grant was given to assist with the construction of additional classrooms in Kenya, and relief work in Sudan and Uganda.
